Entered from a small courtyard at the top of Via Roma, Cavour is the best place in Todi for pizza. It has a huge menu, which is best savoured in the summer when you can sit out on the restaurant’s tiered terrace and enjoy spectacular views across the valley. The food, like the service, never fails to be excellent, and if you don’t fancy pizza the pasta (primi piatti) or meat (secondi piatti) is a good choice too. Good value for lunch or dinner, and seems to be open with more frequency than other establishments in the centre of Todi, so can usually be relied on as a good place to eat at pretty much any time.
